At least I don't think the course has any windmills. I've never played the course in Tulare. I was surprised that they said the course isn't too wet. We're having a rainy year. Yesterday the UPS truck pulled off to the side of the road in front of my house. She buried the truck to the axles. Had to call a tow truck to get her out. This is common here where I live. I started thinking... just WHICH astrophysicists do I like the most. Well... I have no hard answer for that... but I mentioned Brian Cox. He may be my favorite. Plus he is English... which leads me to this: The English's ARE... it's indisputable, the smartest people that ever existed on earth. There are a LOT of equally smart people.... from everywhere. But never have so many been soby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I missed Star Trek... when it came out. I was in college and partying. Then I went into the Army. So somewhere in the 70's it came out in syndication.... I began watching. Skip ahead - made a friend who was a Star Trek Fanatic. AND... the movie was about to come out. He asked me to go... only time in my life that I got to the theater in the middle of the night and waited in line to bby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I have to because your post brought this to mind. My niece, whom I posted about some time back... just completed her Chemo and then a round of Radiation. Breast Cancer. She's getting her hair back! Nearly an inch long now and she looks fantastic! Always did, actually, even after losing all her hair in Chemo. The lady is a lion... strongest person I have ever known. There have been a few video games I played. I played one of the first, actually... text adventure game called "Cranston Manor". I remember playing "Kings Quest"... then "Myst".... I like the adventure games but they are few these days... supplanted by the "shoot 'em up" games... which I don't like at all and that's odd because I'm an avid target shooter wby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I just discovered, this very evening, that I'm a "baby boomer". "How is that possible, JamesJM?" you're asking yourself. I don't know. I do not know who Gen Z are. Or Millennials. Or Gen...whatever letter. I know they are age groups - not a chance in hell I can tell you which age groups. I know that millennials are younger than me.. possibly teens today? very younby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
but first... they took the dog for re-homing... so that's good. They questioned me like I was a serial killer. :laughing They wanted to know "why" I had fed it because if you feed a stray dog they consider it YOUR dog at that point. So I asked them: "You mean the next time this happens you just want me to starve the dog?" They had no answer for that. Also: Thby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I found a place that will take then re-home the dog that someone dropped off at my house. That's the good news... the $1,000 of damage the dog did chewing stuff up in my front yard is the bad news. Almost impossible these days to find a place that will re-home, NOT put down, stray dogs. Took us two months? I also got my pressure washer out because without any doubt the dog is going toby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I didn't watch very much of the combine, and not all of the QB's. But what I did see from the QB's, other than Penix, did not impress me. A couple actually looked very poor to me. I remember watching Goff and Wentz in the combine and I was wow'd. Both of them... I didn't see anything like that in the group I watched: Penix, Rattler, Reed, Slovis - - Slovis was particularly unimpressive tby JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

I also go out for dinner rarely. But starting this last Thursday.... I went to a Crab Social... all you can eat. Today I ate at a Basque restaurant, called the Santa Fe. AND... I'm going there again Tuesday for a business meeting.... THEN AGAIN next Friday for another business meeting. that's 4 restaurants in 8 days! Fresno, closest big city to me, has few restaurants that offer it and frankly I don't think any of them have top quality ciopinno. pretty sure I posted about a restaurant my daughter found in Napa, (close to you?). It's called "Pasta Prego". Small restaurant. My daughter had the Mussel Risotto - came home and said I had to try it. I think it was two days later we drove to Napaby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
because so much goes into this... and I'm not doubting you... but if, big IF, the man has that much natural ability, (not saying he does, I don't know), how is he not a top candidate for NFL coaching capability, or are NFL coaches over rated?by JamesJM - RamsFootballFans.com

I have a few. Not enough, but some. Tonight was our annual Crab dinner at our Italian Club. It is, put simply, the greatest meal you'll ever experience. My granddaughter cannot attend... too young. So in years past I buy a platter of crab and bring it home for her. Not this year, they didn't allow it. Costs are so high now they can't do it anymore. I saw that live.... or maybe it was taped? First airing in the USA anyway. I wouldn't say he was 'out of control' all the way down. I think it's better described by saying he took every critical point on the course 'just over' what was possible... or at least beyond any thing he had yet attempted. He first got 'out of whack' very early in his run - just try to imagine the mental strengthby JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
I could try but it won't make any sense to you - - - it is, at the same time, the most fun and must infuriating activity you can do. I didn't play much golf while I was in High School. I got serious about it in my late 20's. In my 50's my shoulders gave out and had to quit golf. Back into it now because after a long time off from the game swinging a club doesn't hurt my shoulders anymore.by JamesJM - Bucky's Pub
Too late... already did. :laughing We have 2 or 3 of them in my home... my daughter got them for free. Her health insurance was giving them away... no idea why. BUT... I have never used them. Only time I used them was that trip to the Chiropractor. So I don't know if I've ever felt 'max'.... I did tell the Chiropractor to crank it up, several times, because it felt so damn good. Think I posted this before... several years ago. Several years ago something went wrong with my neck. Well, where my neck connects to my shoulder. Never did get a diagnosis but I'm pretty sure it was a pinched nerve. It was agony, and in fact damn near had me bed ridden. Doc's could do nothing, I suffered, weeks went by until I was desperate. I'm now about a year and a half into my comeback after a very long lay off... 15 yrs, maybe 20. By this time I "thought" I would be playing decent golf. I'm not. :laughing I should have known that at my age 'distance' would be considerably off and I did BUT.... I didn't expect this big of a drop off. Like you I follow many astrophysicists, physicists in general.... and no, Neil is not on my favorites list. But I have enjoyed some of his interviews. Most of those I follow are authors and don't really appear on TV all that often. Big fan of Brian Greene. Hawking was fascinating. Extremely knowledgeable man.... can be entertaining..... AND... has the maturity level of a 3rd grader, if that. :laughing So if you're a fan... I'm not really putting him down here. I have enjoyed some of this talks. But he is childishly immature... beyond doubt. 3 families.... originally only one family got the dance competition discount before they sold out. Without the discount on two of the rooms the difference between 3 rooms or one suite was not all that much... so we chose the suite. So when you see it in your front yard from May 22nd thru the 27th don't call the cops... it's me, and 3 family members.
