Think I posted this before... several years ago. Several years ago something went wrong with my neck. Well, where my neck connects to my shoulder. Never did get a diagnosis but I'm pretty sure it was a pinched nerve. It was agony, and in fact damn near had me bed ridden. Doc's could do nothing, I suffered, weeks went by until I was desperate.
I had never been to Chiropractor but after weeks of the pain I surrendered and made an appointment. The Chiropractor told me "Oh sure, I'll have you good as new in a week at most". It did nothing, no help whatsoever. So...
I just adjusted and tried to live with it. Eventually, VERY slowly, it began to get better... and here comes the very strange part:
It bothered me less and less and eventually was not really painful at all.... just... weird. You know those electrical thingies Chiropractors put on you? Well my pinched nerve began to feel like that. It wasn't constant, maybe every 5 minutes it would hit. And there came a point that when it did hit... I liked it.
Seriously, it was just like those electrical thingies only BETTER.
Eventually it went away... and I missed it.
Now I wouldn't want it back if it started with the 'pain' again BUT... if it could start again at the 'electrical thingie' stage hey... I'd go for that. - JamesJM
