Cowherd is right in the sense that teams see McVay's success and want the same results. Consequently, coaches will be fired. Teams are looking for the innovative, energetic coach who will bring them up to date with the modern offensive game. And quickly. You keep bringing up all of these old coaches from 20-50 years back which misses one of the main points of Cowherd and the article: In tby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Cowherd said McVay is going to get a lot of coaches fired. Sure sounds like that is the case. The climate in the NFL seems to have changed where teams have less patience for long rebuilds.by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotejemach knows the 2 TD win wasn't a 2 TD win in the sense of competitiveness. Aaron Donald single-handedly changed the game. Without that strip sack, it was a good chance we lose. With it, the Rams can relax with just a few minutes left in the game. At no point in the game were we behind. So there is absolutely no evidence to say that there was a good chance we would lose without AD'by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

I second Deadpool's post below. In essence: who said McVay is looking for a TE to create space in the middle? When you see the passing game being just inside the numbers to the sideline you have to start thinking it's not just personnel; it's likely scheme that's more to account for that. The Rams seem to think he can create space in the endzone because he's been targeted there quite a biby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com

I see largely the same positions earmarked for replacement as you do. I do have a few different suggestions though about how to go about meeting the needs. FS and SS - I would switch JJ3 to FS. When they drafted him they said he was versatile and could play both. He's excelled in coverage so that seems to be true. Then I would pick up a SS in free agency and skip Earl Thomas. QuoteAlbaNY_Ram I agree. But he has 14.5 with 5 games to go. Keeping up that pace would get him to 21. His first 4 years he had 9, 11, 8, and 11. This year he's on pace for 21. If Suh isn't the primary reason for that leap then what is? Can he keep up that pace? Maybe. He had 2 sacks thru the first 4 games. He has 12.5 in his last 7 games. Here's what I see: Suh was always gonna walk. Let him.... Trade or cut Brockers unless he's injured. JFM is his replacement who IMO is playing as well if not better. Extend Fowler Barron walks...
