QuoteAlbaNY_Ram Washington can cut Peterson (or any player, for that matter) any time they want for whatever reason they choose. QuoteClassicalwit At any rate, I'm thankful that it worked out like it did. The guy I was playing in my FF league had the Rams' defense. I thought I had him dead in the water, but the defense kept popping 10 point plays with those strip sacks. One more of those and I would have surely lost. Only Brandin Cooks' 100 yard day saved me as it is. Playing FF and rooting for the real life team/playersby dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotealyoshamucci But surely someone can devise a plan to combo cover him? Maybe not. I mean no one really has ... right? He had what? One reception in the 2nd half. McVay says that they see Reynolds as a starting caliber WR. Guys, I'm wondering how Reynolds stacks up versus Kupp as a WR? Is Kupp really better? If so, what makes him better? What do you guys see as their relative strengths and weaknesses?by dzrams - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRFL Reynolds and Everett would both be good options, and they are each coming forward. And you know a medium-sized guy who can run good routes can get himself available on those. Kupp can do it, and I think Woods can, too. Ike was great at stuff like that and he was not a monster. I hear you on the reasoning that the lack of quick strike options is probably related to his over-all scheme of keeping the wide-outs in tight. However, I think it's more about personnel than that. Why? One word: Watkins. Last year we ran several quick strike type options that you're talking about and specifically in the RZ. QuoteSuh-weet! QuoteSpeed_Kills My follow up question was should it be? In other words what difference does it make if his arm is moving forward if the ball was hit and knocked out of his hand prior to him releasing it I mean what if Westbrook had take the ball off of his hand... literally just grabbed it... would that not have counted because his arm was moving forward? QuoteSpeed_Kills Yes but I think whats throwing me off is in a) it ends with “after leaving the passers hand”... so does the arm motioning forward that is mentioned later override the initial definition which says the pass has to leave the players hand? QuoteSaguaro What is conventional wisdom in that situation? Run the ball, even if for little or no yardage, make the other team use their timeouts to stop the clock, kick it to them with minimal time left. Of course, the other team is expecting that, so they're playing the run hard.
