That's the funny thing about philosophy isn't it, Horatio? It's usually so far ahead of the limited thinking in those institutions that you just mentioned that it's challenging to accept.

Sure. One problem that we are facing in this scenario. I was being sensational and sarcastic when calling it philosophy. It's more along the lines of your credo. I don't know what caused you to live by that rule and I respect the fact that many of us have been taught lessons that the masses have not but I cannot think of any justification here.

I don't think anyone is trying to justify Hunt. That's just a misreading.

Some were simply pointing out that woman should also be held accountable for their wrongdoing and disrespect that adds to the conflict too.

Anytime you start trying to blame a 19 year old girl for getting shoved, slapped and kicked by NFL football player you're going to lose....especially considering the video that accompanies it.


That's what it reads like when you start trying to point fingers anywhere else but at Hunt.


All he had to do was wrap her up and walk her out the door and this whole mess never would have happened.

Pointing out that there is a different standard and the need for her to have some accountability for her actions isn't blaming her or justifying his behavior.

Newsflash: it's possible to acknowledge that both parties had some culpability for the situation without justifying either for their wrong behavior.
