I don't think the issue is that Peters needs a HOF'er playing next to him. The issue is, with Talib out, they're asking him to play more of a style that doesn't suit him.

They got both at the same time so that Talib would play the press coverage role and Peters could play his natural, off coverage, ball hawking style. He has a long demonstrated ability to play that way at a very high level.

So for me I would keep him because I would be committed to making sure that I have someone opposite him that plays the press coverage role that Wade's scheme seems to need. In addition to Talib being back, I'd be certain to draft another CB who could fill that role if Talib goes down again.

He doesn't need a HOF'er but he does need someone to fill the press coverage role so he doesn't have to...
