Aaron Donald...period.
AD was today’s Ram MVP, no question.
I think AD can make a case that he was the MVP in the last 3 games.
In KC, he was the engine that helped the D score 14 points.
Against Seattle, they probably don't win without him.
Here’s my thinking, dz.
I think that there’s such a thing as “best football player”.
And there’s such a thing as “most valuable player” (as in, can’t win without).
I think that AD is the former and Goff is the latter.
I can accept that assessment over the entire season.
Still think AD might be the MVP over the last 3 games though...(as in they may not have won any of those games without him.)
Honestly, dz, I don’t see how the Rams could have won the Seahawk and Chiefs game without BOTH Goff and AD. And today’s game without both AD and Gurley, not to mention Woods and Cooks.
It’s not just any one single guy. We need ‘em all lately.
Which makes the whole 'can't win without' litmus test an imprecise one. I will say the Rams probably could have won today with Mannion.
Goff was horrible.
