And Fisher is not a bad coach. He gets some A's and B's and maybe a C but that F on offense really brings down the GPA. There is no denying that Fisher is one of the worst offenses coaches in the NFL. All he had to do was back away from that part and he would have had a winning season. That along with not wasting that #2 asset on Greg Robinson. He gave us Gurley and Donald. The Defenby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com

What grade do you give coach today? Results often taint your view and of course he isn't to blame for Goff falling over the foot on the drop back, or Gurley fumbling at the goal line, or the missed field goal, or the Austin Fumble, or the Goff Fumble, or the Goff Interception, and if all that doesn't happen, my guess the Rams win and score in the 20's, but I now expect 30's every game. Watkins averaged 1000 yards in his first 2 seasons in the NFL. Greg Robinson in a recent publication in year 4 was ranked #71 out of 72 tackles. Great Robinson was just a horrific draft pick. While I know the left tackle many years ago taken #2 in the draft was probably worst, I think the circumstances of where the team was and the opportunities of what else could have been done with the piby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com

My problem is with how the passing game was handled. Nobody goes in motion, No bunch sets, no crossing patterns, no combo routes, no pick plays, no WRs breaking in middle of field, no seam passes to WRs. It was clear, today was game planned for tight ends. His fear of the Seahawk CBs dictated the game plan and playing with fear cost him the game.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
my problem is Brown and Cooper and Reynolds and those kinds of guys in the game all the time. I know Higby had a big game, and the tight end was obviously a big part of the game plan, but where are all those WR patterns they ran early in the year. It was all run straight down the field stuff.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
but had the fumbles which got him yanked. Quinn basically had injury rob his greatness, I believe. He did have one sack though.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
He got too cute with trying to involve everybody. No WRs going in motion. No bunch sets. No Wrs combo routes. No crossing patterns. Basically the WRs stood straight up and ran straight down the field. Way too much trying to get the guys off the bench involved. It was somewhat Fisher like. Although the wasting of timeouts that cost the Rams late was Martz like. Been nice notby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
I guess we my question on what the Rams offense could do with better left tackle play has been answered? The reality of Whitworth being old doesn't matter, because it allowed the Rams to find out about Goff and Gurley. That along with better offensive coaching. Even if Whitworth doesn't play beyond this season, it helped change "Everything". My guess is he can play another couby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com

Him going in on 3rd downs made that down easier to stop as he was no threat to make a play. 2 years - 0 touchdowns 2 years - 3 runs over 20+ yards basically once a year he would make a play.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
but Greg Robinson was a big part of it as well. He screwed up so many plays, the offense was even more dysfunctional. Very little falls to Gurley. Very Very little. I will give 2 facts that I don't buy into this he didn't work out and wasn't as good of an athlete theory. 1) This all started in his rookie season after his first 4 games when teams figured out the Rams didn't run plays tby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
tons of entertainment. Here is another one on how much the Rams offense would improve. Of course at this time, it was unknown that Kupp and Watkins was going to be added to the mix and that is why I said middle of the pack. But I knew just replacing Robinson and the coaching staff would completely change the offense and eliminate all the underachieving.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
See the post from 6 months ago. After years of pounding the table, they went back and did the things they should have done years ago. 1) Get a coach with more of a Martz ability of creating uncertainty on defense, creating space, developing players, and putting those players in positon to make plays 2) replace greg robinson to stabilize the offensive line 3) upgrade the WRs The Ramsby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
His quote about receiving easier to make 1 guy miss instead of 11 tells all No, in the running game, you shouldn't have to make 11 guys miss, but the predictable offense where there was no space turned the runs into a game of twister with 22 bodies all jammed into the same space. The fact that the Rams have playmakers in at all times keep the defense guessing. And specifically gurley being used on 3rd downs instead of Cunningham.by Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Austin has been making plays for years. Maybe not enough to justify his salary, but we see him running around or by people. What I can't understand is how there are people perfectly ok with Benny Cunningham doing nothing for 2 seasons, 0 Tds, 3 runs over 20 yards, basically 1 play a year, and the same people beat up on Austin when he made more plays in a few games in 2015 that Cunningham maby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com

The Rams would never have been a great team to the extent they were if he was not chosen as the offensive coordinator. I don't believe Faulk and Warner have near the results they did if Martz is not their coach. See Goff and Gurley last year versus Goff and Gurley this year. We get more of last year for Faulk and Warner and less of this year. Remember that Faulk had less than a 4.0 yardsby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
There are many that have done poor analysis on what actually happened in the superbowl (by fans, experts, sports media etc) The facts speak a much different story, actually the results. 1) There were only 4 punts the entire game by the Rams and 3 of the 4 punts were after a short run. Some of the critical comments in this thread on Martz I see and understand the perspective. Don't totally agree but do in some cases. However, one that 90% of America believe that I think I am right and they are wrong is the superbowl Loss. Faulk ran 15 times in the first 3 quarters and was on pace for a 20-25 carry game had the Rams been in the lead, but the Rams were trailing. Martby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
Like most say. He has very good value and coach uses him well. Don't know if he is worth the salary. He averaged 5.0 yards per carry and never got close to that again. Like McVay, Martz knew how to create space. His second best season was 2006 the last year Bulger played well, before his regression under Linehan, he averaged 4.4 yards per carry. Overall, when I look at the numbers, I feel while Jackson's yards per carry are good, it isn't eye popping. I have always felt that Linehaby Rams_81 - RamsFootballFans.com
He has energy and optimism because he is given a chance to be successful. Last year, the space management was horrific. 22 bodies trying to occupy the same 10 feet of space.
