And Fisher is not a bad coach. He gets some A's and B's and maybe a C but that F on offense really brings down the GPA.
There is no denying that Fisher is one of the worst offenses coaches in the NFL. All he had to do was back away from that part and he would have had a winning season. That along with not wasting that #2 asset on Greg Robinson.
He gave us Gurley and Donald. The Defense and Special teams were aggressive and made plays. I actually thought game decisions were pretty good. His selection of personal on everything other than offense good. Although he did get Gurley and Austin and some offensive lineman and I like them.
But the term Fisher ball - means bad offense and yesterday while better than anything we had seen in 10 years, it was a dropoff and poor decisions along with the physical mistakes contributed to a bad loss.
That should have been a win and got away. Fisher actually would beat many good teams but lose to bad teams. One of the reasons for that is he played the punting game. Don't turn the ball and hope the defense can win the game by creating turnovers and sometimes it did. Basically the play of the other team dictated the end result. If the other team played well, the Rams had no chance, because there was no attempt to try to score. IF the other team was sloppy and turned the ball over, the Rams could back into a win.
