And congratulations on the new guitar, when you get it.
Just a quick story: the band I'm in now was originally "Buckskin"... far more country, we're mostly classic rock now. My cousin Danny was in Buckskin, RIP. He was killed in an accident back in 1995, just in front of my home. Danny was the most unique character that ever lived.... the most annoying human being ever born, and most loved. Danny could only play western 'swing' rhythm.... so one night at a practice I was having him left hand the chords and I was strumming the strings to get him to hear, and play, straight 4. Hours we worked on it, hours. He never did get it... couldn't hear it.
It was a simple song but for the life of me I can't remember which song it was... but the band wanted to play it.... so when we debuted the song guess what? I played the guitar for him... took me a week to get the chords right. We had another guitar player play the drums... just bass - snare - bass -snare repeat... didn't worry about the cymbals.
So there you have it.. my one and ONLY performance playing guitar.
