We have decided Toyota will be next. USED to be Hondas for my Wife.

May 06, 2024 03:37AM
We bought a brand new CRV in Dec 2018. It has had all sorts of electrical glitches. The dash will sometimes either start blinking, dim so much it cannot be seen in day light or just shut off. OF COURSE, Honda says they have to see it to know what's up even though my Wife has taken multiple videos and photos. The SERVICE Manager is USELESS.

I have a 13 year old Nissan Sentra that has, Mechanically (KNOCK ON WOOD), been an awesome car. But the paint flaked off the wheels after two years. I painted them myself because I was NOT gonna pay $149 for each of the ....plastic frisbees. At year 5, the paint started flaking on the side mirrors. Just 4 months ago, I found that I have MAJOR / irreparable rust under the roof , at the right "A" post. I fully expect to see it eat its way to the exterior within a year or two. That was because of a fine leak along the roof seam and windshield. I paid $25K for that car and that was 13 years ago. I bet the same "QUALITY" is 30-35K now.

Ramgator30May 08, 2024 03:39PM

Just 12-13 years ago, Honda Elements were EVERYWHERE.

Ramgator22May 08, 2024 03:44PM

sstrams24May 08, 2024 04:26PM

I'll be told I'm wrong by Board experts but cars have little value at all as soon as you drive off the lot.

Ramgator30May 09, 2024 02:34AM
