I disagree.

Have run into tooooo many people who dish out $$$$ and have glitches in these fancy electrical systems. We bought a Honda CRV in 2018 that has never been right. The dash console is constantly blinking out. I know of several guys on the Fire Dept who have had issues with pick up trucks. We are CONSTANTLY hearing of recalls. Yeah, everything gets more expensive with time but vehicles are climbing higher than people can afford, more than ever. There have been recent reports of pick ups not selling. You rarely see vehicles older than 15 years on the road. But that is changing because people simply cannot afford to buy new. Our Mechanic has been doing it for 45 years and he says its the worst he has ever seen. YES, they have all sorts of EPA improvements and safety features. The Technology that runs these features is cheap as hell but cost the Customer $$$$$$$$$$ to replace.

Just like home appliances...They have all sorts of bells n whistles. All sorts of settings. Hell, you can control them with your phone. But ALL of the inner components are cheap. I have had two experienced Repair guys tell me that and even a Sales Rep.
