Lot of it I agree with but more dependable? I'm sure you can get more mileage out of engines today.... but the enormity of issues with cars these days is astronomical. Of course that could be because there so much more to go wrong now. Also -
When I farmed we did all our own maintenance and repairs.... can't do that today. They've made cars nearly impossible to work on without a small fortune in specialty tools.
