Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers are my favorite war movies/series. I absolutely love Band of Brothers and I try to watch it every year around Memorial Day.
I have a pretty good Band of Brothers digital library that consists of all 10 episodes along with tons of bios, History Channel study guides and about 1,000 behind the scenes photos, reunion photos, photos from the series, videos, newspaper and magazine articles, interviews, and a spreadsheet I put together that took me months and months of research. The spreadsheet has most of the men in Easy Company and includes all sorts of info on each one including what became of them after the war. Pretty interesting stuff. I also put together a collection of photos for 62 of the men from Easy Company that shows the soldier, the soldier as he looked when the series was made (or the latest available photo of him), the date of his death, where he died, and how old he was, and the actor who played him in the series. I did this exercise because I was having trouble keeping all the soldiers and actors straight in my mind. Below are a few examples.
