I have a friend at work

that was in Germany a few years ago , and he was telling me there was/is a church in what was East Germany that was destroyed during the war , and it just remained a pile of rubble while it was still under Soviet control , it wasn't until after the fall ,of the Berlin wall that they rebuilt it , but here's the kicker , one of the sons of one of the bomber crew who destroyed the church , reforged the gold Cross the German stoled during the war
