Training camp is about installs and meetings and talent assesment, 7 on 7, situational work, etc. from what I can tell. During the season, there aren't a lot of padded practices and tackling drills, it's treatment, film, upcoming gameplan, walk through, etc.

but not wholesale stuff

When Tiki Barber was fumbling-COughlin worked with him on new way to do something

When McCutcheon was fumbling Chuck Knox made him carry a football that had a handle taped
to it as a reminder...

Maybe an Olineman is ducking his head--it will be pointed out.

here is the thing: NFL is often about good reps. Getting tons good reps in offseason, good reps in OTA,
good reps in camp, good reps week of game.

IMO most of the coaching is about making sure a guy is getting to the right spot. Say a tackle is
not getting to where he needs to be on drop step

Or a receiver getting open at just the right time---timing

Or a DB getting reps to recognize the routes in front of him, or if two DBs
are going to switch, or if the linemen switch----timing and reps.

I was at a Rams practice one and Shotty yelled "F$#@ Me" because
a pass was too flat. He just looked at the QB and made an arching motion
, didn't say "put and arc on the ball" just a motion. Qb knew he needed to
correct that particular throw.

Never say never, there will be some hitting in practice . . . but IMO those
are for corrections on little things, not teaching tackling and such.

Is it something that is NEVER? Prob not, but it's not a thing. IMO it is reps
and installing game plan, working on what 2-point plays you like that week
