McVay is not immune from criticism.
In the NFL it is what have you done for me lately.
There is no need to find another coach, but the issue with McVay is he has not had to deal with adversity. The Rams bought their way out of shortcomings up until now, and the jig is up. Time to pay the piper.
McVay's "genius" will be taken to task now that he has to make it work with the players he has and minimal add ons.
So we'll see. He had been the best coach in many years and no other coach has ever lost so many assistant coaches year after year.
But it is what it is and if we struggle for the next 2-3 years under McVay, criticism will be justified.
If you can only win with a superstar team then McVay is the Goff of coaches. Meaning he doesn't make the team better...He is only as good as the players he has around him.
We shall see.
