Not only did the Rams not get much back in return, it turns out that they didn't get much cap relief either. Something still doesn't smell right about all this. It is water under the bridge but it isn't adding up.
I would've done the same thing as McVay.
Sign Allen Robinson and trade Robert Woods.
Doesn't mean I'm right how this will turn out, but I take Robinson over Woods 7 days a week with all the parameters that were involved.
We will see how right or wrong McVay and company were for making this decision.
Woods was a stud for the Rams and Robinson has some pressure on him to live up to the hype.
I am at the "Woods/Robinson are equivalent but different" position but right now it isn't an either or, we could easily have both for 3.5 million basically Van and Tutu. I am not saying next year it will be an issue but this year the move doesn't pass muster. Especially when it's not like Woods is pulling a DJax and wants out of LA. So for this year alone it's not Robinson or Woods, it's Woods or Van and Tutu. Now that is not equivalent.
