I am one of Woods biggest fans believing he was equal to Kupp and until this past season I believed a better all around WR but he was languishing in our offense only to shine as a blocker and runner ocassional 2nd and 3rd down target. Used for miss direction and to manipulate defenses to free up Kupp.
We will be the most studied team going into 2022 and Woods would be expected to come back full throttle and that is less likely since his injury is not coming at his youthful prime. Many are forgetting that.
Robinson is more like Chris Carter (hands), Keenan Allen type smothness and redzone savy, the type of talent that we have lacked and gives us what Josh Reynolds was supposed to bring.
Robinson has the best hands over all our WRs including Kupp who is getting better but Robinson specializes in up for grab catches. The versitility that he offers from a vertical passing attack perspective is going to be huge in the evolution of McVay's offense.
The beauty of it all we gave Woods the respect he has earned even in moving on.
