My guess is they are looking at OBJ and think that by playoffs, he might be able to contribute. But... I suspect they have a very specific deal in mind that allows them to more think about the 23 and 24 seasons, and probably at around 40% cheaper than Woods. They could get lucky and OBJ recovers towards the upper end of the scale by playoff time. But, if he didn't it's not the end of the world IF the 22 money is pretty small. No matter how you cut it, Robinson is much closer to a sure thing than either Woods or OBJ.
