I agree and would like to believe, most educated NFL fans understand total tackles can grossly be inflated for various reasons. This can also be the case for offensive and special teams stats.
Tackles/Sacks/INT's/Total Yards/TD's/Yds per catch/Yds per carry/Yds per completion and many others.
Wagner's tackles for loss was 3 . . --interesting given that Reeder had 6, Kenny Young had 6, and Jones had 1===13 from out ILB position
Now, I don't think that makes those guys better at all, just means be wary of tackle stats, even the ones for loss . . .
