When someone breaths or coughs or sings or whatever that person doesn't expel the virus, they expel droplets that contain the virus. And while a cloth mask wouldn't stop an individual virus it is certainly effective at trapping those droplets.
Without the mask those droplets are expelled into the air. Studies show that those droplets hit the floor within three or four feet. That's where the 6' guideline comes from - someone just added a couple extra feet for good measure.
The combination of masking and social distancing really provides two layers of protection in helping to keep a contagious individual from infecting other people.
That's how I understand it too AlbaNY. Well said Sir!
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
