You've been carrying water for Fisher's failure for years, and you've repeated your argument over and over and over again. "But Fisher had this and that problem." All coaches have problems, the best find ways to win. His job is to make his team strong by fixing the weaknesses. He is what his record says he is. He was mediocre in Tn, and he was mediocre with the Rams. If Fisher were any good he'd found a ways to improve things. He failed. A HC has to work with what he has and devise ways to win, Fisher failed. McVay came to town and in his first year, with mostly Fisher's guys, he went to the playoffs.

You've insisted that people give you examples of coaches with weak QB and OLines who've succeeded. That a big request because the best coaches know how to hide their weaknesses so that they're not obvious.

At the end of the day the data says Fisher was mediocre. You can make all the reasons/excuses for his failure but after some 15 years as a HC it's reasonable to expect his strengths, or weaknesses, to be revealed. Take a look at his overall HC record. I believe it is around 40% wins between TN and the Rams. That's probably one reason why nobody wants him.

Let's put it another way, if the Rams lost McVay, would you want them to hire Fisher?
