43 summed up the argument well: Fisher had 5 years with the Rams, and he had 10 or so years in TN and his record is mediocre.
This argument isn't about you as much as it is the weakness of your argument. No you don't see it differently from us, you only see part of the problem. You are an intelligent poster and a fellow Ram fan, but sometimes your arguments are myopic. Like a good lawyer you've made a good, but incomplete argument, and you've drawn your line in the sand. You are looking at the little picture, or only a part of the picture, we're seeing more of the big picture. This stuff doesn't require special analysis or examination.
Yeah, of course having a solid O Line and good QB helps to win games, no one disputes that. What I'm saying, and what you've had a horrible time admitting was that Fisher should have fixed it. You've focused exclusively on the non-Fisher reasons or excuses for his failure. I'm saying, that Fisher himself was part of the problem. I expect a bit more than excuses from a HC. Obviously so does the football world.
The data says Fisher was a mediocre coach. So does the football world. Even though you didn't / won't give me a direct answer I'm assuming that you agree with me also.
