So given your argument is he a mediocre, average, or better than average coach?
Didn't manage to avoid that death match, hunh? And what is the thing with you being so at home in group pile-ons?
Have you noticed you're generally the person lecturing others on not making things personal yet you're generally the one who
starts making things personal. Asking why I'm at home in "group pile-ons" is not about my post; it's personal. In addition, you started talking about me having a death match in your very first response to me so right away your response wasn't about my post; you were making things personal and hostile.
I think we could have real conversation if things didn't start with that tone. (Until this post where I'm compelled to address you getting personal, I hadn't gotten personal with you in this thread.)
On to the football...
You talk about not getting responses to your argument but it seems to me that's not true. In this thread, there are several responses where posters acknowledge that having a good QB and solid OL would help any coach's record. No one disputes that. But I have not seen you respond to their counterpoints of Fisher's involvement in his bad circumstances.
And then when you are directly asked what's your opinion on Fisher you refuse to answer. We honestly can't say if there is any difference of opinion on Fisher here when you haven't stated your opinion. So no, it's not just rehashing old stuff. I was trying to engage and get new material by discovering your assessment of Fisher overall. (i.e. I'm trying to go beyond "yes, he could have been better if his circumstances were better" since no one has ever disputed that.)
