I didn't. Like most slams on Fisher it is very light on context.

Out of 80 games, how many did Fisher have both a non-rookie starting caliber qb and a solid, intact OL?

It's really about 14 games.

Now that isn't saying he's McVay, but off the top of your head, how many coaches can you name who had winning records when they could field both a starting caliber non-rookie qb and an intact, solid, experienced OL in only 16% of their games?

I am always baffled by writers who don't know how to account for things like that, which are basic things.

Meanwhile, in 2019, McVay had only one of those 2 things. He had a (young) veteran starting caliber. The OL though had big issues. Under those conditions, McVay--who we KNOW is a good coach--just managed to go 9-7. So those kinds of things do have effects.
