I feel like we have this same discussion anytime anyone brings up a player who hasn't played. But imo and based on recent observations as to how the rams handle young players I dont think not playing means much. #1 you may not like reeder or some of the other ilbs but they were good enough to post the #1 D year so they were not horrific. I personally like reeder and believe he will continue to get better. And that brings up #2. Fans for some reason tend to look at performance as static. Imo it's anything but, particularly between years 1 and 2. So maybe reeder etc was better than rozeboom last year. It doesn't mean he will be again this year. #3 while all players develop at different rates I think the improvement of all second year players will be more marked than previous years due to the inability to hold otas etc last year.
For example, Did DW play much as a rookie? No. On fact he originally signed as an udfa with BMore was cut signed by the rams and I don't believe played a down year 1. You know the rest of the story...
Anyway I'm not saying rozeboom is the next DW. Im just saying he has intriguing physical skills and the rams allegedly like him. Well see where that leads.
