The NFL is a copycat league, and Tampa Bay just kicked KC’s ass. Tampa made the Chiefs scarey offense look like Jeff Fishers on a bad day. Devin White and Lavonte David leading the way. Don’t get me wrong Tampa’s edges were great but their DL and DBs were not better units than ours. Their ILBs controlled that game much like they did all year, very stable and reliable. Buffalo’s d was lead by Edmonds all year and was really good. The “if it’s not broke don’t fix it mentality is just ignore weak spots in our team which was exploited by good teams and glossed over by lesser ones. Our number one ranking was helped out by some inexplicably bad performances. In two games the Cards did less than nothing which was more than our dominant defense if we are being honest. Murray was horrible against us and I hope continues to do so but it would be hard to do worse. We benefited from some other bad performances also. We were a very good defense last year but don’t let it fool you that we could not be better.
