Look. I get your argument that is player performance based.
This issue for me is that the evidence is that the Rams just don't place ILB as a priority. They are always in "make do" mode. They just don't spend even 3rd round comp picks on ILBs.
So we can all have our opinions on how we view the success or failures of our ILBs. But the evidence of how the Rams view it, and if they don't do something very different this year, is that they are satisfied enough with our ILB candidates.
Now if they use a 2 or 3rd on a ILB, then they've changed their view. Our young ILBs are still developing, and a confirmed starter for last year got hurt late in the preseason and didn't play. I'm of the opinion that they won't take a ILB early, because they don't have to.
