a couple of things
the weird thing about Goff is you mentioned he throws a good ball but he hasn’t proven to be very accurate. That’s one of the biggest things that has surprised me about him is mediocre accuracy. In fact without looking I am sure from a completion percentage Jimmy G has been better. He completed nearly 70% of his passes last year. I’m not sure Goff has ever been close to that.
also don’t forget that through 3 and half Qs Jimmy G outplayed Maholmes. He didn’t suck in the SB. Rather when the Chiefs got back in it... the Niners got away from the run and play action and started passing straight up and they can’t pass nearly as well without play action.

what happened to the 49ers in the SB is exactly what happen to a team whose passing game is too dependent on the Run or Run action and the QB is not dynamic enough to carry the team
