I don't need to re-watch them, Goff was still displaying inconsistency in both of those games and the offense wasn't in rhythm. McVay was doing everything he could to get Goff back into a rhythm by playing him as much as he did in those last 2 games.
Like I said, the stats looked better but Goff was not back to what he was against the Vikings and Chiefs. He's still having the same types of problems. He has been streaky and inconsistent for a long while now. Over the last 11 games he has been suffering the same issues and the Cardinals and 49ers games don't refute that. His issues were still evident, they just didn't result in as many struggles against a team with a lame duck coach and a defense that was playing many backups.
