This sort of demarcation can become a misleading myth.
But I know this. I was frustrated by Goff against DET. I looked for the sharp Goff to emerge the next week against da Bears. He didn't. And then, game by game since, I keep looking to see him emerge. And game after game he does good things at times without ever showing that special capacity I have seen from him.
I think I would recognize Sharp Goff if he showed up. And I am dying to celebrate his return. But I haven't seen him since that magical night against KC.
