Wentz is also coming off a nasty knee injury and is probably not close to being 100% physically or mentally. Can you imagine with Goff's inability to move hampered by such an injury? And let's be frank, he does not have the weapons that Goff does at this point.
They are different QB's to be sure. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. When Wentz is healthy he is more of an SOB on 3rd and short or intermediate to defend than someone like Goff just because of his ability to extend plays and make plays with his feet. That's just my opinion. However, if you want someone to quickly carve up a defense and do it in short order I would absolutely lean to Goff as he is super accurate intermediate thrower.
These are names that just kinda pop into my head and mean nothing in particular. Wentz reminds me alot of Roger Staubach and Goff reminds me of Dan Fouts. And there is no shame in those comparisons either way.
