I know they said they wanted him back. They probably made some offer based on what they felt he was worth. Certainly less than the tag number but are there any reports about what was actually offered?
I don't recall seeing or hearing any reports that an actual offer was made. I did see reports saying McVay would have liked to have him back. ( What else would he say? lol) I assume for the right price. But, it was also reported they were interested in Cooks BEFORE they wanted SW last year but couldn't offer what NE did. I am not sure when NE offered Cooks to the Rams THIS year but I am sure they were trying cover all bases by still having interest in SW. To be honest, SW wasn't bad last year but obviously in McVay's opinion he wasn't good enough to warrant the kind of money KC offered. I also have a feeling they thought Cooks would be the better option this year (if available).
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
