but you have no proof of what you're saying. It's all speculative.
McVay told reporters, insiders and in general, that he wanted Watkins back.
To play this as it was a façade or just a CYA is really baseless. Maybe last year they wanted Cooks and didn't get him. But that doesn't mean that his desire to have Watkins back was all for show.
Obviously Watkins got more than they were willing to pay.
Let's see what they are willing to pay for Cooks. If they think it's less than $16 million...good luck.
Of course what I said was "speculative" je that's why I started with IMO. It was my opinion or speculation as you say and I never claimed to have proof lol.
The fact is that McVay wanted Cooks BEFORE SW. Again, IMO Sammy was clearly plan B. I also think if they could have kept SW for what "they" thought he was worth, he would still be here. Clearly some people have higher opinions of SW than what the Rams did.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
