to come to the conclusion that the Rams were trying to resign Watkins. When I hear they are trying to resign, maybe I'm taking a leap of faith they are trying to make an offer.
However, that really isn't the point. McVay said he wanted Watkins back. If Watkins wasn't a fit, why were the Rams even contemplating having Watkins back.
Maybe McVay was blowing smoke...but I doubt it.
