I don't see how this trade is good if you're not making a SB run this year.
They lost Watkins and needed someone to at least fill that role to give them a legit shot at the SB this year.
If your not making a SB run, then the math just doesn't work for this trade to be good.
It's fairly clear to me that Watkins and the 23rd pick is better than Cooks without that pick, especially when you consider they are gonna have to pay Cooks about the same as what Watkins is getting now.
I mean, look past this year. Next year Watkins and Cooks are gonna be making about the same salary. Then its a matter of comparing the value of those 2 players on the field and the value of the 23rd pick.
So ask yourself this question. Would you trade Watkins and the 23rd pick for Cooks? Cause thats what the trade comes down to after this year.
I think McVay already answered that question Max. Since he coached SW for a year and saw him everyday in practice, film and games. I will have give him the benefit of the doubt until it is proven wrong.
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
