Maximizing Quinn's skill set meant using him as the rush linebacker on virtually every play that he was in the game. That does not fit Wade's preference, which is to vary which LB is rushing. Hence, not a scheme fit. And ultimately traded away.
His forte has always been setting the edge and rushing the passer.
He would drop in hook zones but he was not a coverage LB and did fine in Phillips defense.
Ware and Miller were the leading sack tandem in the league under Wade.
You can't do that going backwards.
Quinn can do that IF healthy which is why he came on the later the season.
If there was a weakness in his play was his ability to stay discipline and set an edge.
Other than that he can do what Ware did.
We'll agree to disagree, because nobody hear unless you're evaluating his physical skills can determine what he can or can't do scheme wise after one season.
