I am not freaking out about losing Quinn, he was very average past few years. Im ok losing Barron and Barwin as well. Our D will be led by Donald, Brockers, Joyner, Peters, J Johnson and Tree (though I do not love AO). That is a lot of really good to great players. The other pieces will likely be filled by guys like Littleton, Westbrooks, Longacre, Ebukam, etc.... No team has studs at every position. We are in good shape. Maybe a few mid level free agents like Webster last year and a few draft picks, and I think the D will be awesome and we should be in position to extend AD & Joyner, and franchise Sammy.
go Rams.
Quinn was playing hurt and recovering the last few years. If I recall he didn't even participate in physical practices last summer. When he did finally get it back together physically he played well.
These are some snippets from PFF on his last few games:

Robert Quinn is beginning to turn his season around after a rough start on the edge of Wade Phillips’ defense. In his last three games, Quinn has accumulated three sacks and eight stops in run defense. In the same set of games, the veteran has not missed a tackle, and his 8.4 run-stop percentage ranks second among edge defenders.

Robert Quinn... who produced 18 of his 38 quarterback pressures in his final four games of the season could be devastating to opposing offenses come 2018.
