The Rams have a young and maturing offense. The last thing they need is more young players except perhaps for depth, and ESPECIALLY a LT candidate to replace Whitworth after this year. I'm still not very happy at TE; but a good all round vet might be the ticket there.
On the D, they need vets to put the finishing touches on a playoff caliber D. EXCEPT....more and more it seems that rookies do pretty well at CB.
It seems to me that the Rams need to solidify their front 7 and make sure they can maintain QB pressure. They can do this with a combo of draft picks and vets.
The main thing is that the Rams need to get themselves a NT and a thumper ILB to deal with the run. I 'd love to see vets in both of those positions (Ngata and Bowman?)
Some have suggested moving Ogletree to OLB. I'm actually a bit intrigued with that, although at first I rejected the idea out of hand. He would be a good pass rusher and covers well. But that assumes Barron staying at ILB to give you the coverage ability there as well.
