He has had along career for sure, but really good QB's don't get cut by one team and then bounce around doing so-so for 3 others.
I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you (other than Goff need reps), but Fitz is not all that and reallly should be a back up.
He's in the bottom 5% of staring NFL QB's.

We have already seen that Keenum is very smooth with the 1st team. Goff has not been horrible but he's not smooth either. Probably due to his lack of experience. What would it hurt Fisher to play Mannion at least 1 quarter with the 1st team this Saturday?
Mannion is not automatically the 3rd team QB. Not sure why anyone would assume he is.
Maybe, just maybe Fisher already has a good idea of how Sean would perform and is good with that and wants to find out more about Goff.
