Name a team that had 2 qbs to prep and stopped it all to look more at their 3rd. Especially when they had no problems with the 1 and 2 and were just trying to get them ready for the season.
Can you think of any examples? Any team will do.
Good leaders don;t waste time. Heck I can't think of a team that did that even before the new CBA limited practices.
And they know they haven't overlooked anything. They know Mannion better than any fan who watched the 2nd half of the Dallas game. They knew before the Dallas game. There;s no reason for them to derail things with needless self-doubt like that.
And we all have one-liners about what good leaders do.

In this case I say it's have a good plan and not be distracted by minor issues.
The only way Mannion will ever start this year is 2 injuries at qb in front of him.
They can find out more about him next year, when it will matter more.
