It’s a bit unfair to describe my suggestion as ‘running Kupp out of town’ as if he were yesterday’s newspaper.
I know that Kupp is a sacred cow. Heck, I love him, too.
But his play is in decline and he’s suffering more and more injuries while his $30M contract handcuffs Snead to make needed moves. Those 3 things are undeniable if one is objective.
The handwriting is on the wall. The only question is when it’s in Rams best interest to part ways with Kupp, not if.
All beloved players at some point must leave the Rams. It’s just the nature of the beast. We’ve survived losing AD and we’ll survive losing Kupp.
Frankly, the clock is ticking on Stafford and Hav, too.
