I know many get upset with McVay. Of course, he is not perfect. But, I feel he is getting as much out of this team as possible. I feel the overall talent on the Rams is overrated imho. McVay is limited offensively, why? OL play, they simply cannot protect Stafford. People want RB's in the pass game, they can't, Williams must pickup pass rushers constantly. Why isn't Corum getting touches? He is not near as good as Williams in pass pro. Throw to the TE, they need them to help in pass protection too much. The lack of 1st round picks is coming to roost. When you look at the Rams starting 22 and the Eagles starting 22, what Rams would the Eagles take? Puka over Dovante Smith? Verse? The Rams talent is simply not good enough to compete with the upper echelon teams. The Eagles were simply, bigger, faster, and stronger than the Rams plain and simple. Who acquires the talent Les Snead? Giving away players like Earnest Jones for peanuts, then the Titans get what a 4th? Rams have no player on the roster at the position near as good!! Snead has had many sub par trades. I could go on, but the fact remains the Rams talent is just mediocre at best. I know MANY Eagle fans personally who would take McVay in heartbeat over Sirianni!!!!
