All due respect to Jared Goff and thanks to him for some great performances with the Rams, however . . .
. . . it's simple -
If Goff was as good as Stafford, he would still be in LA.In 2021, PFF rated Stafford #7 QB and Goff #31 Ram's line 7th best and Detroit's 13th. - Stafford wins SB
In 2022, PFF rated Stafford #26 QB and Goff #20 Ram's line 30th best and Detroit 9th - Stafford pummeled all year and finally on IR
In 2023, PFF rated Stafford #5 QB and Goff #10 Ram's line 18th best and Detroit 2nd - even with 18th rated line, injured Kupp, Stafford has best season
Goff's lines have been better than Stafford's, especially since healthy Ragnow & Sewell showed up and yet Stafford has outperformed him.
The scary part is Detroit's OL should be better this year than last when they were rated 2nd best and their D got better - ouch
"Is he good enough to win them a SB? Well I guess we will find out but my hunch is they will also need a great defense" - ??? we'll see
"Stafford led a game winning drive to win the SB with no run game and down to only Cooper Kupp. Could Goff have done that?" - I don't think so
"Does Goff throw that no like pass to Kupp on 3rd down getting the ball deep into the Bengals territory?" - No
"the two QB are not the same regardless of the stats" - correct
