There is opportunity cost there. The Rams have 2024 money. But they don't have a bottomless pit of money.
If they spend $17M on a RG then they're not spending somewhere else. I'd much rather add a top-flight Edge rusher or CB and go find another jettisoned RG to have Wendell coach up.
