Maybe the play calling isn't his issue? Maybe it's a combo of all the "little things".
Play calling is what he loves to do the most IMO. If that's his "thing" let him do it. IMO, he should get himself a true "Assistant HC" that can take care of those "little things".
I am not sure who would that be though. Bring someone new in or promote within? Do we have anyone that could do it?
I was thinking maybe making Morris the Assistant HC but if he is still going to be here next year (and it looks like he will) I want him to focus 100% on the defense.
I don't want anything to interfere with Morris's game planning even if it doesn't seem like our game plans on D change from week to week! Let Morris dedicate 100% of his time perfecting that Charmin Shell of his!
