Even if he keeps that control we will lose Brown, you keep looking at the OC position only. Brown going will have a big impact within the offense, he is the guy who that RB room feeds off of. If he keeps the OC play calling as I think he will they can still have the traits/what Brown can give as a pseudo OC. At the same time Brown can grow in that position much as the others before him under Sean.
I also said if Sean would surprise me and some others by forgoing that OC role of course you'd want a seasoned guy, that is obvious.
If Brown leaves due to promotion, so be it. More power to him.
No disrespect, but RB coaches are easier to replace than OC’s. McVay should lock up the best possible OC and I don’t think it’s Brown. Sorry.
