McVay’s playcalling in ‘22 was highly suspect if we’re being honest and objective.
Something was ‘off’ with McVay last season and it affected his play calling negatively, not to mention some of his inexplicable personnel decisions.
Many of our posters are remembering the glorious first 5 McVay years and ignoring evidence of disarray in ‘22 that’s right under their nose.
I’m hopeful that McVay’s head is now on straight, maybe he gets some therapy, and makes needed changes among his assistant coaches starting with a play calling vet at OC.
My point is that McVay has to make substantial changes from his ‘22 self or we are gonna get sub-optimal results this season while our ‘SB window’ is closing. Nobody wants that, least of all McVay.
