I need to re-watch this whole thing sometime. I was in 3rd grade and had a soccer game my parents wouldn't let me miss. I think we got home midway through the 4th quarter.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Higbee set the Rams record for receptions by a TE (69) last year. He could break that this year (75-80?). Team records for yards by a TE is 875 (Red Philips, 1962- though he was more of a WR?) and TDs is Damone Johnson (6 in 1988).by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
$30/car for up to 4 people. Pretty good deal. Movie (Dirty Dancing, which I came to realize I had never seen start to finish) started at 9PM and being near the ocean it was a nice, breezy evening. Opened our tailgate, put out a couple camping chairs, cracked a couple beers. It was great. Movie theater companies and local communities with the land should seriously invest in these.by LMU93 - Bucky's Pub
We just got back from a week on Cape Cod. A decades-closed drive-in reopened very recently and we took our kids last Friday night. I hadn't been to a drive in since I think 1988 or maybe 1989. I was expecting it to be fairly low quality experience with the movie projected on some big tarps or sheets but it was just the opposite. Several huge, 40' LED screens hung on stacked shipping containers anby LMU93 - Bucky's Pub
I think it was rumored he may have abused her but I think it was another former boyfriend.by LMU93 - Bucky's Pub
My first job out of college in 1993 and 1994 was in Beverly Hills and I met her twice during it. Very nice. First time I met her David Justice was with her- he just stood there not saying a word to anyone.by LMU93 - Bucky's Pub
I think Everett is far more likely to stay as well. But I also wouldn't entirely rule out a trade 1-2 months from now. It's at least possible depending on how Hopkins (and maybe Blanton?) develops. I would not be surprised at all if Brown was released. If they feel good about what they see in Henderson and Akers as the 1-2 I don't think you want to pay a RB3 $1.3M.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I care but I am starting to come to just accept the idea. I miss the NBA playoffs and MLB to varying extents. And the NFL and college football are always my favorites. But I would rather they just not happen than go through some sort of starts and stops etc. I have adapted since March and found plenty other things to do. If the major sports world needs to pause until early 2021 then so be it.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
He had an extended period (1973-'77) where he was one of the elite RBs in the league. That, to me, gives him the edge above Gurley, Bettis, and others.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think McCutcheon would be the 4th in that RB pic for sure.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, I totally see what you mean. With my son (11) he has played in a well-organized youth flag football league the past year and really likes it. He has asked, "what if I wanted to play tackle football?" And I've said, "If your interest is still really strong when you get to high school we'll talk about it then." I have never liked the idea of youth tackle football and for mby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Using Pro Football Reference's 'approximate value' ratings, here are their top defensive players ever through their first six seasons. LT one, Donald three... Of course, with Taylor he racked up dominant seasons in his 7th through 10th seasons as well.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Via the Boston Globe. Wonder how long this will take. Rebranding an entire team A to Z isn't something you can do by early September...by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com

Great cast and writing. Finally watching it now. 8 episodes in with 2 left to go.by LMU93 - Bucky's Pub
I think there is a role for both. And I'm a big fan of using 12 personnel because I think it is much harder for defenses to key pass vs. run. Especially if it's Higbee and Everett. Just want to be sure the Rams don't get predictable in personnel groupings where, say, they throw ~80% of the time Everett is on the field but run 80% when Mundt is in there. I think I recall New England exploitingby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Between Higbee's emergence and his comparatively better blocking he's the TE1. But I agree that in the Rams opinion there may not be a huge gap between them. It's more that there's one football and they have several really good WRs too and will want to get RBs more involved in the passing game again. Then you have Mundt as a classic blocking TE3 and special teams guy and the rookie Brycen Hopby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Have to figure given the circumstances (no OTAs, etc.) Wolford has a leg up given that knowledge of the system. It would be great to see him emerge as a reliable backup.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Doug Smith got old and dropped off a cliff in 1991. Brostek was drafted in 1990 to take over but was OK not great. Slater was declining by 1992. Guys like Joe Milinichik, Gerald Perry, Robert Jenkins were becoming starting OL and, while Newberry was excellent, overall it was a far cry from the '70s-'80s OLs.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Over two seasons (1988 and 1989) Everett was truly elite. He was in the top 2-3 in every category, including leading the league in TD passes (60). You can argue only Montana was better over those two seasons. It was so weird to see a Rams QB throwing the ball that well... Then after those playoffs things just changed-- drastically. Yes, the team faded around him but he was not the same. Glimpby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree. Let's say he has a couple small children in a few years. His view will likely change. For a guy like him if he can put in 10 years as Rams' HC he could move on to a TV gig at age 41.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
In short- highly accurate, great touch and overall very mechanically sound. Dealt with a ton of pressure last year often not allowing him to go beyond his 1st read. Could clean up some occasional mechanical breakdowns (O'Connell?). Offense is predicated on running the ball and having time for routes to develop on play action. An even average OL in 2020 would make the offense much better in 20by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
That's what makes them bowing out with two straight losses after that MNF game so frustrating. That was a very good team.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
It's certainly the way to go for the foreseeable future. 15 to 30% capacity at most. Too bad. I was hoping to go to the Miami game in November. Maybe @MIN or GB in 2021.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think overall the 1980 team was better than 1985. The offense was WAY better. Their schedule was easier though (mainly because SF was yet to emerge). In 1980 the four best teams in the league, in my opinion, were all in the NFC- PHIL, DAL, ATL and the Rams. Had the Rams not lost the season finale at home vs. Atlanta in OT (Corral missed 3 FGs by the way) they'd have won the division for theby LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think Edwards has all the makings of a very solid starter. He did nothing to embarrass himself in 10 starts (690 snaps) as a rookie and largely held his own. As the article points out, he needs greater functional strength and that is typically a big focus area for OL between years one and two.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he can play RT too and view him as a very viable 3rd OT/game day backup for 2020. I would not put him back at guard, though. I see no reason Noteboom should not be good for camp, at least in limited capacity at the outset. His injury was a month earlier in the season than Kupp's was in 2018 and Kupp was not only full-go in camp last summer he was involved in OTAs.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah, the '85 and '89 teams were ultimately tripped up by having to play two of the top 5-10 Super Bowl era teams of all-time.by LMU93 - RamsFootballFans.com
